New from – AtterroTerra (Indie Death / Melodic Metal )

AtterroTerra : A fusion of Death Metal / Melodic vibes and sheer energy,

NMR – The album is great, and I picked “Bring out your Dead” as a classic example of what this genre is for me, manic drum rhythms, super high energy guitar and vocal delivery, mixed perfectly for this style, Metal Heads unite !

AtteroTerra is the solo endeavor of Las Vegas-based multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter Travis Perry. Since 2009, the one-man band has blended elements of death, thrash, and melodic metal, with touches of black metal and hardcore’s raw intensity to provide listeners with reasons to headbang that feel both familiar and fresh.

“I’ve known I had to make music from the moment I first heard a distorted guitar,” says the Las Vegas native. “Anymore, metal is what allows me to purge things that, otherwise, frankly, I don’t know how to deal with.”

Perry’s vision for AtteroTerra, though evolving, is rooted in authenticity and connection. He doesn’t seek to impose a specific message on his listeners but rather hopes that his music can serve as a tool for personal interpretation and emotional release, whether it’s helping the listener work through their rage, find their center, or simply drown the outside noise.

The road for the project has not been a smooth one since the release of 2011’s full-length debut, Humanicide Directive, with matters such as family turmoil, mental health, interstate relocation, performance obligations with Perry’s other bands, and career instability often forcing AtteroTerra into the back seat. Other events, such as the home studio burglary and total theft of all instruments, amplifiers, and recording equipment during the production of AtteroTerra’s sophomore album, 2016’s Pray for Apocalypse, almost ended the project entirely.

Having rebuilt the studio and stepped back from performing with other bands in the years since, AtteroTerra can breathe once more, and with third album This Too Shall Pass, Perry continues to carve out his own space in the metal world, driven by a relentless passion and a commitment to staying true to his roots. With two new music videos, a series of singles, and an EP of covers already in the works, AtteroTerra has no intention of slowing down any time soon.
