After a courageous battle with stage 4 colon cancer, Emergency Tiara is set to make a triumphant return to the music scene with the release of her latest new EP, “Custom Made”. This highly anticipated EP includes songs penned during her fight against cancer, encapsulating both her resilience and her artistry.
New EP Release: “Custom Made”
Scheduled for release in August 2024, “Custom Made” features a collection of tracks that reflect the journey and spirit of Emergency Tiara. The title track, “Custom Made”, along with “Bikini Body”, showcases her ability to create music that remains sparkly, quirky, and cheeky, despite the somber themes. These tracks promise irresistible beats that carry the infectious energy fans have come to love.

Starting May 9th, 2024, singles from the EP will be released, offering a sneak peek into the vibrant and empowering music that characterizes “Custom Made”.
Meet Emergency Tiara
Emergency Tiara is the New York-based musical project led by the multi-talented Juri, who is the lead singer, songwriter, and driving force behind the act.
Juri’s Background
Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, Juri is a classically trained vocalist, pianist, and dancer. Her musical journey began with early performances alongside notable figures such as Japanese classical vocalist Ken Nishikiori in “La Damnation de Faust”, conducted by Seiji Ozawa, now the musical director of the Vienna State Opera.
Collaborations and Performances
Juri’s impressive career includes collaborations with industry legends like En Vogue, Tata Vega, Raheem DeVaughn, Bootsy Collins, Dontae Winslow, and Valerie Simpson. Emergency Tiara has graced stages at prestigious events such as SXSW, Primavera Sound Festival, Pride Festivals nationwide, London Fashion Week, NYC Fashion Week, and served as a supporting act for Belinda Carlisle’s UK tour.
Previous Work
Emergency Tiara’s previous EP, “The Cat’s Meow”, released in September 2023, showcased her unique style and solidified her place in the music industry.
