Lo Stone Releases New Indie Rock Single “Run Away”
This new track has a nice pace and groove, with some solid guitar arrangements and solid rhythm, then the chorus opens up with really cool melody and chord structure, a really cool vocal style and delivery from Lo, all in all a well constructed track well presented, don’t miss out !
Today, St. Louis-based singer/songwriter Lo Stone released her latest indie rock single, “Run Away.” With a timeless ’90s rock vibe, Lo’s striking voice coolly delivers catchy lyrics about moving on from a breakup. The tune features searing instrumentals from Mathew Dale on electric guitar, Chris Turnbaugh on bass, and Joe Meyer on drums, creating an infectious drive. The song was produced by Chris Turnbaugh at Sawhorse Studio.
“I grew up in the ’90s, so the sounds of that era are always somewhere inside of me,” Lo said. “As I was writing ‘Run Away,’ those influences came out fast and furious, and I was fortunate to work with such incredible musicians who really nailed it.”
“Run Away” is Lo’s second single release following the December 2023 debut of her 14-track album, “With a Long Arc.” As a writer turned health care provider, Lo’s songs have an emotional depth and moving composition that make her an artist to watch.
