“A Celestial Misalignment: The Evolution of Villain Villain

NMR – A sort of Post Punk energy here, guitar driven with a wide soundscape, good vocal delivery and melodies, overall a cool sounding track, check it out !

A celestial misalignment. A cold hand of God plucking a couple of select humans from their comfortable homes on earth. A room. A bunch of gear. A wall of noise. A mold growing in the carpets of a nearby motel. A wail from the depths of the black ocean. An arpeggiator that never stops. A chorus of angels singing as they plummet from the sky. A recording. Another. An obscure myth coming to life. A mountain that never stops growing. An imperceptible argument. An agreement, but an allowable rotating door of creativity that may see this band in different forms.

This Fraser Valley band formed in 2016 and has been through many life cycles with its members and sound. Jaydee Bateman, the founding Father of the band, has stayed a constant and continues to adopt new members and fresh blood into the band dynamic.

Evolving and growing from a two-piece electronic group into a four-piece alternative psychedelic rock band, the band is consolidating and solidifying their idiosyncratic sound. Now in alignment and with their heads together, the boys of Villain Villain have begun a new era and are ready to show their listeners fresh and new ideas.

Recently, the band jumped back into the studio and recorded new tracks. They officially released two singles in the winter of 2023 and are set to release three more singles in 2024. This band is worth keeping an eye on.
